Key responsibilities:

Key responsibilities focus on providing advisory services in corporate, real estate, and M&A matters, including:

  • Draft and review a wide range of legal documents, such as licensing applications, legal opinions, transactional documents, and detailed legal due diligence reports.
  • Work independently or with superiors/the team to liaise with clients, government authorities, and/or other third parties on assigned legal matters, including but not limited to participating in meetings, presentations, discussions, negotiations;
  • Provide comprehensive legal advisory in corporate, real estate, and M&A matters (covering all business stages, from formation and operation to restructuring, expansion, and exit);
  • Manage, allocate, and supervise the work of assigned team members and/or independently handle assigned matters;
  • Oversee and coordinate with relevant departments to handle paperwork/administrative matters of the case (such as arranging, filing, and handing over documents, English–Vietnamese translation, preparing materials, and carrying out the company’s internal procedures as assigned);
  • Report work progress and results to superiors.

Requirements:

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor of Laws (LLB) – preference given to graduates from the University of Law (ULAW) and the University of Economics and Law (UEL).
  • Being a lawyer with at least 2 years’ post-qualification experience (PQE) in a law firm or a similar professional legal environment.
  • Additional qualifications in Business Administration or Finance will be considered an advantage.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Proficient in English and Vietnamese, both written and spoken, with the ability to draft and review legal documents in both languages.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Visio).
  • Strong legal research and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret and apply laws, regulations, and written instructions of the competent authorities.
  • Solid business mindset to support clients in operations, negotiations, and transactions.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills; able to lead when required while remaining a supportive team player.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and accurate in all deliverables.
  • Able to manage time and workload effectively, delivering high-quality results under pressure.
