Currently, the online investment reporting management system (https:\/\/fdi.gov.vn\/Pages\/TrangChu.aspx<\/a><\/strong>) has been put into operation and gradually improved. When the investors have carried out the procedure to amend the Investment Registration Certificate at the Department of Planning and Investment of HCMC, the Department has issued official letters requesting them to fulfill reporting obligations.<\/p>\n

It can be observed that the authorities commence monitoring and supervising the implementation of report obligations of investors. Accordingly, investors who fail to fulfill their obligations may be subject to administrative penalties, e.g., a fine ranging from VND5,000,000 to VND10,000,000 for failing to report obligations (Article 13.2 of Decree 50\/2016\/ND-CP).<\/p>\n
